My Summer Wardrobe Wish List! Cheap Sundresses!

Hey everyone,

In this post I want to share the 411 on where you can get some cheap sundresses! I just love summer because it's an excuse for me to don colorful, soft, and flow sundresses every single day! I recently visited an online shop, Rosegal, that's home to some pretty adorable summer dresses. I created a wish list to inspire myself, and hopefully you!

 Fun in the Sun:

This is the kind of dress that inspires you to be outside soaking up the rays. I love the cold shoulder detailing, along with the slit in the front.

The Day Date:

You could wear this to brunch with your significant other with light makeup and your hair pulled back and then rock it with a smokey eye and tousled hair for a night time look! I love the combination of form-fitting plus off the shoulder details.

 Curvy's Best Friend:

This vibrant number will look good on almost all curvy body types because of the cinched waist detailing. Whether you are a pear shape, or naturally born with the hourglass physique, this dress accentuates the waist. The bold print takes the attention away from things you might be self-conscious about and, instead, draws the eyes to the trail of color you leave behind!

 The Almost Dress a.k.a Romper:

I love that rompers feel like dresses and wear like shorts. They provide a one-stop shop for getting ready, much like dresses, but give you a little more coverage in the event that a gust of wind catches you off-guard. This romper is white and boho chic. How could you ask for more?

Wrap it Up!

You've got to love a good wrap dress. In this multicolor print you can literally do anything with this dress. You can wear it to a summer wedding, a baby shower, a date night, to church...you get the picture, right?

You want some new clothes, why not taking a look over here?

WHITE BEFORE LABOR DAY!

Hey Loves,

I wore this look this past weekend. I subconsciously wore a lot of white this weekend because of that outdated adage about not wearing white after labor day. From what I've read, there were both practical and vain reasons for the "rule". Some say it derived from the older rich, old money, upper crust members of society, as a way to tell themselves apart from new money. Others believe that it had something to do with pre-central heating days when coal was used. White was avoided to prevent soot stains from being visible (digg.com). In any case, white was on my mind. As a result, my outfits were on the lighter side.

This one in particular was effortless. I was going for 'easy glam'. I pulled out this gorgeous, light, surplice top and searched my closet for the perfect bottoms. These vintage jeans were a perfect match. They now fit me like boyfriend jeans, as I've lost about 50lbs since giving birth last June. When I first purchased them they fit more close to my body. I then decided to go for the most comfortable pair of heels I own and these nude Forever21 pumps 'made the cut'. My jewelry is from Montana Silversmith. I did a review for their beautiful pieces on my YouTube channel

Surplice blouse: Forever21

High-waisted Jeans: Vintage Find

Nude Pumps: Forever21

Jewelry: Montana Silversmiths

I hope you were inspired by this super simple look. Comfort and glam can co-exist! See you in the next post.

DRESSING UP THE BATHING SUIT! 👙

Hey Everyone!

I'm back with another look for you! First off though, I want to thank you from the deepest recesses of my heart for taking the time to stop by my site. I do not take your support lightly, as it is what helps me stay motivated! Feel free to leave a friendly comment below to let me know what you think!

Believe it or not, the polka dotted fabric peeking through my sheer blouse is a bathing suit! This past weekend hubby and I decided to take a drive out by the Bay. I wasn't sure whether we would get in the water or not so I popped my bathing suit under my clothes just in case.

During this process I realized that bathing suits can be dressed up just as you would for a body suit. Besides they are essentially the same thing, right? The bathing suit is usually lined, wired, and padded for support and resistance. Anywho, I hope this looks gives you some inspiration! As Summer winds down to a close you can still take some of your favorite full body suits and transition them into your Fall wardrobe!

Sheer Blouse: 599 Fashion

Cat-Eye Sunnies: (Similar)

Bathing Suit: Old Purchase

Bodycon Skirt: Forever21

 Jeweled Flats: Old Purchase

We took Champ out to practice his new walking skills and he really enjoyed it! We love this little guy so much! Every day with him is such a gift.

Fashion Minute: One Skirt, 2 Ways

Hi Again Friend,

Over the weekend I styled this beautiful rust skirt, purchased from Forever21. I scored this skirt on clearance for only $6!

You can find a similar one here

In the first look I paired this skirt with a chambray blouse and chandelier earrings. I also wore a pair of ankle strap pumps (also purchased from Forever21), and my new "diaper bag" (more details on that in an upcoming post).

In the second look, I wore the same skirt with an off the shoulder 'peasant-style' blouse for a 70's/bohemian feel. I knotted the blouse, as I did in the first look, to keep the proportions of the outfit balanced.

I could have easily changed the bag and shoes to put an altogether different spin on the second look, but I decided to keep it simple.

I am looking to minimize my wardrobe and start afresh, lately. As a result, I have been challenging myself to create new outfit combos with pieces that I love. I hope this post inspired you to do the same!
