Fashion Show: 2nd Annual B.E. Fashion Extravaganza: Fall fashion Frenzy for a Cure
Hi Everyone,

I attended a fashion show in Tampa the other night for a good cause. The fashion show featured local and international designers. The runway exhibited everything from casual wear to jewelry. The event ran for a lively two 4 hours from 7:00pm - 11:00pm. Attendees were served hors d'oeuvres and the VIP guests were served a full dinner. The hosts were jovial and entertaining and the music and poetry was icing on the cake. I had a great time. The lighting wasn't conducive to taking quality photos, but I was able to capture a few of my favorite looks. Here are a few photos from the event.

I opted for this thrifted over-sized blazer atop a flare leather detailed skirt.
Some simple black pumps, a dark lip and a glitter clutch complete the look.

DAY TO NIGHT
Hi Again,

I love doing these types of blog posts, because they reflect what I do with my wardrobe in real life. Rotating pieces to match the occasion is something I practice regularly. My hubby, my dog Prince, and I went to an art walk the other day. We later took Prince home and went to grab sushi. Here's how I created, then modified my style.

Green.
Hi Everyone,

I had been on a hiatus from blogging, for personal reasons, and I am finally back. It's great to be back in the blogosphere. To spearhead my homecoming I decided to take an ordinary look and add an unexpected element to it. I was unsure what to wear, so I rummaged through my hubby's closet for something comfortable. I emerged with this pale green striped shirt. I then took it to my closet to decide what to pair with it when a lightbulb went off in my head. "Why don't I pair this with my green leggings and rock my green tote with the ensemble to showcase varying shades of green! Yes, that's what I'll do!" So, there you have it. Green.

Fashion Event :)
The other night, I attended a fashion event here in Tampa (MIA2THEBAY), and my lace dress made another appearance.

I paired it with a leather skirt, and the wind caught the skirt,
so you can see the dress peeking through. ;)

I decided to pair it with some Steve Madden lace-up platform sandals and a mini purse that was thrifted some time ago. I love the faux fur detail on this purse. I've been rocking it frequently, lately.

At a designer's table, looking at her sketches.

Models lining up for photos on the lobby.

This was MIA2THEBAY's first year showing in Tampa. It was a weekend filled with fashion events that concluded with a fashion show on Sunday evening.

TALK TO YOU SOON. :)
