FALL FASHION: 1 SWEATER 3 WAYS
Hi Loves,

I'm back with another Fall fashion video and blog post! I purchased this over-sized sweater from the Men's section at H&M several weeks ago.

I initially intended on wearing it to an event, but I changed my mind at the last minute; leaving this piece to sit in my closet. Over the weekend,  I pulled it back out and decided to put my creative cap on! What resulted were these three simple Fall-nspired looks. (Keep reading for a special guest feature).

FALL LOOK: GRUNGE CHIC
Hi Guys!

I wore this look the other day while running errands. I was going for comfort, more than anything. Somehow, after adding these boots, the look took a turn for the chic-er (not a word, by the way).

I added these boots because I wanted to wear heels, but I didn't want my feet to hurt. These boots are so comfortable. I wore them during a performance early this year and my feet faired well, even with all the dancing I did. I hope I've shown you how comfort can also be fashionable.

Wide-Brim Hat: Thrifted
Raglan Tee with Logo: My Hubby's

Houndstooth Pencil Skirt: Thrifted

I wore this look fearlessly, even though convention says not to wear these proportions, due to my height.
What I love about fashion is the ability to express myself. Wear it fearlessly.

Ker-Leen

Hi Everyone,

I always love rotating one piece over and over again, in my wardrobe. I purchased this structured, pleated skirt at H&M a few weekends ago, and I am excited to wear it this fall. It's appears white in the photos, but it leans more towards a cream color in real-life. I hope you enjoy the looks.

The Muscle Tee.
On a recent trip to Target over the weekend I came across this Jimi Hendrix muscle t-shirt, and decided to pick it up. The fabric was so soft against my skin and the image of the late Hendrix definitely makes a statement for a music and fashion pundit like myself.

Although I do not align myself with or support his personal lifestyle choices, namely his drug and alcohol abuse, he was arguable one of the greatest instrumentalists of our time. When his visage appears on anything, it definitely makes a statement.

I've styled this muscle tee a few different ways, to match my personal style. Regardless of your style inclinations, I hope that you will be inspired.

Green.
Hi Everyone,

I had been on a hiatus from blogging, for personal reasons, and I am finally back. It's great to be back in the blogosphere. To spearhead my homecoming I decided to take an ordinary look and add an unexpected element to it. I was unsure what to wear, so I rummaged through my hubby's closet for something comfortable. I emerged with this pale green striped shirt. I then took it to my closet to decide what to pair with it when a lightbulb went off in my head. "Why don't I pair this with my green leggings and rock my green tote with the ensemble to showcase varying shades of green! Yes, that's what I'll do!" So, there you have it. Green.

Fall Lookbook #3: The Designer's Effect"
I've always been drawn to runway collections because of the cohesiveness of each designer's line of clothing. I've always thought it was so fascinating how each collection had a specific woman in mind. Even further exciting, was the fact that I could see the how intentional the designer was in creating a look for every situation/occasion that woman would be a part of.

I was inspired to create a 'collection', so to speak, with pieces from my own wardrobe. I hope you will be inspired.

Weekend Style: Men's Blazer
Last weekend I decided to pull one of my favorite blazers from out of my collection. This blazer was one of those 'once-in-a-lifetime' finds I scored at a local thrift store. I styled in with a drop-waist skirt, cap-toe pumps, a mesh/lace blouse, and my large Zara shopper. I got 'classic' from this look, and I felt classic...and chic.
