Thanks for stopping by my site today! I styled this polo shirt for Father's day and  loved the way the look turned out. 'Polo shirts' was the theme of our family look. They can be very difficult to style on a woman, but I think a few elements helped it come together in my case. I tied a knot with the shirt at my hips, over the top of my jeans. I also wore a choker and 'countrified' this look with my wide-brim fedora. Lastly, I added a pair of appropriate heels. The end result was a fun semi-androgynous Western-inspired ensemble. Enjoy!

I wore this look a couple weeks ago and forgot to post it! I styled a pair of men's jeans that I thrifted from Salvation Army! Hope you like!

 I wore this look to a recording session. I wanted to look glam without looking like it took hours to get ready. A pair of boyfriend jeans and a pair of heels is the perfect combination for effortless glam! ;)

For our 5-year wedding anniversary, Joe and I were blessed to have been able to travel again. We stayed in gorgeous San Juan Puerto Rico for 4 amazing days!

While in Puerto Rico, we decided to renew our vows. Renewing our vows helps us remember and honor the covenant we made with God. Marriage is very serious to me and whenever we renew our vows that demonstrates that seriousness to the Lord.

Caught Vlogging!

I haven't posted in about 10 days. Life happened. I am determined to jump back in the saddle, but sometimes we all need to get "centered" again. What "centered" looks like for me is spending time away from social media, spending time reading God's word, praying, exercising, eating right, and just DETOXING, in general!

I know you can probably relate to me on that note. In light of recent events, please take time and pray for all those involved with the recent bombings in Boston. Let's be the change we want to see and work on helping heal those around us before we have to witness such a tragedy.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3

This look was captured a week ago. It's an understated, yet feminine look. Sometimes simple is golden. You can be feminine and fashion forward without going over the top. Let the real you shine through.

I purchased this blazer at a thrift store last year for less than 5 dollars. It has come back out of the recesses of my closet for a Spring appearance this year. I suspect it will be making many more appearances, most of which will probably be on this blog! :)

This blazer adds great proportion to this look! :)

I decided to rock these neon T-strap sandals with the look for an extra pop of color & personality.

I just love the romantic details on this blazer!

My date night outfit turned out just as I had hoped: effortless, classic, & chic!
